Penn State Abington students majoring in Elementary and Early Childhood Education raised the money to purchase a Buddy Bench at Overlook Elementary School in Abington Township.
A group of Penn State Abington students involved in Alternative Spring Break traveled to Puerto Rico. In addition to visiting historic sites, they worked in the wetlands and learned about the importance of mangroves to the island's ecosystem. Another Alternative Spring Break group spent the week in South Dakota working on a Native American reservation.
